HAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
“I’m not the smartest guy around” damn straight you’re not
This is what worries me so much about today’s society. Bill O’Reilly is the host of a nationally acclaimed talk show, which millions of Americans watch. His shows feature topics that could potentially have profound impacts, pending the reactions of the public, on the way society is run, such as religion, politics and war. The amount of exposure his show receives gives him the ability to coerce and manipulate his viewers into agreeing with his points of view.
HOWEVER, this man is a moron with the intelligence capacity of a rusted spoon. The fact that people actually believe his bullshit, that younger viewers are forced to watch by their guardians, should worry us all.
“How do tides work?” The answer to this question lies within the folds of a 12 year old’s science text book. Obviously Mr O’Reilly here never bothered to acquire any knowledge of the world apart from “God did it”.
The Moon? Fuck that, that shit ain’t real.
Sure, God may have instituted the system, depending on your religious beliefs, but being completely oblivious to an universally acknowledged fact that most 12 year olds know, well that’s just a small taste of Bill O’Reilly for you. It’s a bloody fucking miracle he believes in gravity.
However, the responses from David Silverman were also pretty poor. His reply of “I don’t know” to why Church leaders continued to practice religion even though they themselves don’t believe is unacceptable for a person of his stature. Being the leader of an association like the American Atheists, the words “I don’t know” should never be your answer in any interview.
I do not understand why FOX has allowed The O’Reilly Factor to broadcast for over 14 years. O’Reilly, who calls himself a “political commentator”, does little more than make an ass out of himself in front of his guests, kiss the asses of the politicians he supports, and verbally abuse his employees. He has been known to scream, yell, and cry like a baby when he cannot out debate his guests, cut off the microphones of guests who have presented better arguments than him, yell obscenities at his interns, and lose debates with 17 year olds. Also, he doesn’t know the difference between the American Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
So FOX, I’d just like to say well done for providing America with 2 decades of quality entertainment.
